About Avanai

Avanai GmbH is registered in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt, with Christian Voigt as managing director; a conference speaker bio names him co-founder and CEO and Aemal Sayer co-founder and CTO. Its about page lists offices in Bad Homburg, Berlin and Boston and says the firm is backed by Tquila. It works entirely on AI and automation, in three offers: Sovereign AI, an orchestration and governance layer with an EU-hosted option; Agentic Operations, covering production agents, workflow redesign and agent reliability engineering; and AI-Native Teams, for adoption and training. Its foundation engagement promises "5-15 workflows live" and "up to 20 people trained".

n8n's directory lists it as a Premium partner, which is verified, with an enterprise focus and services in workflow building, process design, server installation and migration. It publishes an open-source SAP OData community node for n8n. Two anonymized case studies describe its work: a governed automation engine for a global life-science group with "hundreds of workflows live" and an invoice copilot cutting manual effort per invoice by "40-70%", and an ITSM AI capability for a global manufacturer built on its existing system of record. A "92% time saved" figure on the site is labelled a market benchmark.

No client is named anywhere, there are no logos or testimonials, and no founding year or team size is published. It has no Google, Clutch or Trustpilot listing, and its n8n directory profile has no reviews. Prices are not published; n8n's directory shows budget bands from $1,000-$5,000 up to $100,000+. The same n8n profile calls it a "certified n8n Elite partner" beside a Premium badge, and claims "100% ROI potential in the first year" with no client evidence.

Our verdict

Avanai suits an enterprise that wants AI agents and n8n workflows taken into production under governance, especially where SAP data is involved.

The case for it is a verified n8n Premium tier, an open-source SAP OData node for n8n that anyone can inspect, and an offer built entirely around agents, automation and the controls that keep them reliable. Its life-science case reports "40-70%" less manual effort per invoice.

The caution is that none of it can be traced to a client. Both case studies are anonymized, there are no reviews on any platform, and the firm publishes neither a founding year nor a team size.

A buyer who needs references it can call should ask for them before scoping, since the public record supplies none.

Pros

  • n8n Premium partner, verified on n8n's directory
  • Publishes an open-source SAP OData community node for n8n
  • Its life-science case reports an invoice copilot cutting manual effort per invoice by "40-70%", within "hundreds of workflows live"
  • The foundation engagement states its deliverables: "5-15 workflows live" and "up to 20 people trained"

Cons

  • No named client, logo, testimonial or outside review anywhere; both case studies are anonymized, and the n8n directory profile has no reviews.
  • Founding year and team size are not published, so scale and track record cannot be checked.
  • Publishes no prices; n8n's directory shows budgets running to $100,000+.
  • No n8n case study on its own site, despite the Premium tier.
