About DataNorth AI

DataNorth AI is an AI consultancy in Groningen, Netherlands, with a second office in Amsterdam. Its about page dates it to 2022 and Clutch to 2021. The team page lists 26 people, led by founder and CEO Menno Fokkema, co-founder and AI lead Nick Moesker, CTO Jeroen Bobbeldijk and CFO Bart-Jan Maatman. It sorts its work into four lines: Inspire, with demos, webinars and speakers; Learn, with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and generative AI training and workshops; Advise, with strategy and assessments; and Create, with proofs of concept and custom development.

It publishes 20 case studies, most of them training, workshops and strategy for organizations including Scania Netherlands, ANOC across 200+ Olympic committees, The Geneva Association, Eurofins and Gemeente Groningen. About six are builds. For Tribus HR Services it built onboarding with AI identity-document extraction and NMBRS payroll integration, cutting onboarding from 45 minutes to 2; for an anonymized UK nutrition manufacturer it took a formulation engine to proof of concept in 14 days, saving 20+ hours a month of research. It publishes workshop prices, a ChatGPT workshop at €2,500 for two hours or €2,900 for four. Google shows 5.0 from 69 reviews, mostly about workshops and advice, and Clutch shows 5.0 from 1, for an AI agent with a triage system built for a marketing agency.

Most of the evidence is training. No build case names the platform or model it runs on, and only a few carry figures. Beyond Google the outside record is that single Clutch review, and the Google reviews arrive in bursts, nine across two mornings in October 2026, which points to an active request drive. Consulting and development are unpriced, Clutch shows $150-$199 an hour, the workshop page shows its prices two conflicting ways, and no security or compliance statement was found.

Our verdict

DataNorth AI suits a Dutch or European organization that wants its people trained on ChatGPT or Copilot and an AI roadmap drawn up, with a proof of concept as a possible next step.

The case for it is a deep training record with named organizations, from Scania Netherlands to ANOC's 200+ Olympic committees, workshop prices published on its own site, and a few builds with figures, such as onboarding cut from 45 minutes to 2 for Tribus HR Services. Google shows 5.0 from 69 reviews.

The caution is that build work is the smaller part of the business. About six of 20 cases are builds, none names its platform or model, and the only outside review of a build is one Clutch review. The Google base is growing in bursts that suggest solicitation.

A buyer whose main need is a production automation or agent system should ask for build references and the stack behind them.

Pros

  • 20 published case studies with named organizations, including Scania Netherlands, ANOC, The Geneva Association and Eurofins
  • Onboarding cut from 45 minutes to 2 for Tribus HR Services, with AI document extraction and NMBRS payroll integration
  • Publishes workshop prices on its own site: €2,500 for a two-hour ChatGPT workshop and €2,900 for four hours, with follow-up support at €150 an hour
  • 5.0 from 69 Google reviews and 5.0 from 1 on Clutch
  • A formulation engine taken to proof of concept in 14 days for an anonymized UK nutrition manufacturer, saving 20+ hours a month of research

Cons

  • Training, workshops and strategy dominate: about six of 20 case studies are builds, and few of those carry figures.
  • No build case names the platform or model it runs on, so a buyer cannot tell what the systems are built with.
  • Outside evidence beyond Google is one Clutch review, and the Google reviews arrive in tight bursts, nine across two mornings in October 2026.
  • Consulting and development are unpriced, and the ChatGPT workshop page shows two conflicting price cards.
  • No security or compliance statement found; the security and compliance page tried returned a 404.
