About StudioHawk

StudioHawk is an SEO agency founded in 2015 by Harry Sanders, headquartered in Prahran, Melbourne, with an office in Sydney and further teams named in London and Atlanta. It reports 120 staff, and Clutch lists 50-249. The work is organic search: technical, ecommerce, enterprise and international SEO, migrations, content, digital PR and link building. It sells no paid media. AI search is sold inside the standard retainers through an AI SEO page and pages on ChatGPT and Gemini optimization, with visibility tracked across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.

Its outside record is broad. Google shows 4.8 from 128 reviews on the Melbourne listing and 5.0 from 92 on the Sydney one, and Clutch shows 4.8 from 6 verified reviews, two of them tagged AI consulting. Three of its 63 case studies report AI search figures, the most detailed being Cooper and Co, where AI-referred sessions rose from 759 to 7,825 in a year and brand mentions are counted separately for ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode. The about page claims four APAC Search Awards wins for Best Large SEO Agency.

AI search is a component of a large conventional SEO business, an estimated 10-20% of the work as a distinct deliverable, and there is no standalone GEO package. No tool or analytics method is named behind the AI search figures. It publishes no prices, and Clutch puts its rate at $150-$199 an hour. The Melbourne Google listing carries seven one-star ratings, including a September 2026 review alleging a year of SEO with no visibility growth and absent account management for a small business. Trustpilot shows 3.2 from two one-star reviews by the same reviewer, and neither describes SEO work.

Our verdict

StudioHawk suits an ecommerce or consumer brand that wants a large SEO and digital PR team and is content to get AI search visibility as part of that retainer.

The case for it is scale and evidence: about 120 staff, 220 Google reviews across two Australian listings, and a Cooper and Co case reporting AI-referred sessions up from 759 to 7,825 in a year with brand mentions counted per AI platform.

The caution is that AI search is a minority of what it delivers. Three of 63 case studies report AI search figures, none names its measurement method, and a buyer who wants GEO alone has to take a full SEO engagement. Prices are unpublished and the Clutch rate is $150-$199 an hour.

A small business should weigh the September 2026 one-star review alleging thin account management on a small account, and ask who will run its account week to week.

Pros

  • 4.8 from 128 Google reviews in Melbourne and 5.0 from 92 in Sydney; 4.8 from 6 verified Clutch reviews
  • The Cooper and Co case reports AI-referred sessions from 759 to 7,825 year on year and 476 brand mentions split by platform
  • About 120 staff across Melbourne and Sydney, with teams named in London and Atlanta
  • Tracks AI visibility across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini inside its SEO retainers
  • Named SEO clients with figures, including Officeworks at 32% more organic revenue

Cons

  • A conventional SEO and digital PR agency where AI search is a recent addition: 3 of 63 case studies report AI search figures, and there is no standalone GEO package.
  • No tool or analytics method is named behind its AI search figures.
  • Publishes no prices; Clutch shows $150-$199 an hour.
  • A September 2026 Google one-star alleges a year of SEO with no visibility growth and absent account management for a small business, one of seven one-star ratings on the Melbourne listing.
